Apex WOD Builder is built on a local-first, privacy-by-default architecture. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your workout data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
1. Who We Are
Apex WOD App is operated by Apex WOD App, an Australian sole trader ("we", "us", or "our"). Apex WOD App is a sole trader registered in Australia. For privacy enquiries, contact us at support@apexwod.app.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you purchase a lifetime licence we collect your email address and payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We receive only a transaction confirmation — your card details are never seen or stored by us.
Information we do not collect
- Workout data, session logs, exercise history, or performance metrics — all stored locally on your device
- Analytics or behavioural tracking data
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Cookies (we use none)
Automatically collected information
Our hosting provider (Netlify) may log basic server access data including IP addresses and page requests for security and infrastructure purposes. This data is governed by Netlify's Privacy Policy and is not accessible to or used by us for marketing or tracking purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your email address solely to:
- Deliver your purchase confirmation and licence
- Respond to support or refund requests you initiate
- Send critical product updates (you may opt out at any time)
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making.
4. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you purchase, you are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive a confirmation of your purchase and your email address. We do not store credit card numbers or financial data of any kind.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your workout data is stored exclusively on your device using browser local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers. We do not operate a backend database of user workout records.
Your email address (purchase record) is retained by our payment processor Stripe and may be stored in our email support system for the duration required to service your account.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. As we hold minimal data (email and purchase record only), a deletion request can be fulfilled by contacting us at support@apexwod.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Australian users are protected under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. International users retain rights under applicable local law including GDPR (EU/UK) where relevant.
7. Third-Party Services

No advertising networks, social media pixels, or analytics platforms are used on this site or in the app.
8. Changes to This Policy
